MONDAY
DIRECTING
Learn the basics of directing a play in this informative class. Explore stage directions, working with actors, scene analysis, and more! Beginners and more experienced students are welcome. Please note that any students who wish to participate in the class must register – this includes actors. We will not be using volunteer actors this term. Actors, directors, writers, and designers are all encouraged to participate and collaborate! Monday 2:00-3:30pm Class size limit: 15 Tuition: $105
CREATIVE WRITING
Work on your writing – short stories, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, whatever you’ve got! – in this class geared for writers of all skill levels. Monday 2:00-4:00pm Class size limit: 5 Tuition: $80
THEATRE ARTS – ACTING
Learn to create a story onstage through acting exercises, games, character development, and other techniques. Topics will vary according to class section and instructor. Registered students will be divided into three classes with a limit of 10 students per class. Monday 4:15 – 5:30pm Class size limit: 30 Tuition: $105
CREATIVE MOVEMENT & DANCE
Learn a variety of creative movement and dance techniques in this fun and challenging class. Students of all skill levels and body types are encouraged to participate. Monday 6:00 – 7:00pm Class size limit: 25 Tuition: $85
TUESDAY
YOGA
Improve balance, flexibility, and focus in this peaceful yet challenging class. Recharge and clear your mind so you’re ready to take on the rest of the day! Students of all abilities, body types, and experience levels are welcome! Wear comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement. All equipment will be provided, though students who have their own yoga mats are welcome to bring them. Tuesday 12:30 – 1:45pm Class size limit: 15 Tuition: $80
SONGWRITING, SECTION 1
Why perform other people’s music when you can write and perform your own? Have your words put to music, make original music for your classmates’ words, or perform a cover by adding your personal stamp to one of your favorite songs. Students can write their own songs or participate in writing group songs. Whether you’ve written songs before, or are ready to write your first song, you’re welcome to come explore your creative musical side! Please sign up for EITHER Section 1 OR Section 2 (see Section 2 schedule below). Tuesday 1:30-2:30pm Class size limit: 6 Tuition: $85
MIXED VOCAL ENSEMBLE
Mixed Vocal Ensemble is a small choir focused on singers as individuals. We sing a variety of folk and classical music from around the world, including rounds, partner songs, and singing games, intended to get students singing independently and in harmony with the choir. Tuesday 3:15-4:15pm Class size limit: 16 Tuition: $85
VISUAL ART
Students will explore a variety of mediums and styles of visual art, both two and three dimensional. Paint, draw, sculpt, collage, collaborate, and create! Tuesday 3:00 – 5:00pm Class size limit: 18 Tuition: $130
WEDNESDAY
PLAYWRITING
Learn the basics of writing your own play, from script formatting to creating believable dialogue. Bring your creativity and your willingness to try something new! Wednesday 2:00-3:30pm Class size limit: 10 Tuition: $105
iPad MUSIC LAB
In the iPad class, you’ll use technology to explore music and composition in a group environment. From creating funky beats to lyrical melodies students will work with the instructors and their classmates to create original electronic music and learn more about what music composition is all about through music apps on iPads. PHAME provides the iPad, you provide your creativity! Wednesday 3:45-4:45pm Class size limit: 8 Tuition: $100
THEATRE ARTS – LARGE ENSEMBLE
Use a wide variety of techniques in learning how to create theatre as a group. This class may incorporate the use movement, dialogue, music, props, and any number of other theatrical elements. Open to students of all skill levels and areas of theatrical interest. Wednesday 4:00-5:15pm Class size limit: 30 Tuition: $100
CHOIR
PHAME’s largest class welcomes anyone who enjoys singing in a group, regardless of skill level. Choir members will have several opportunities for public performance throughout the year, at venues such as the Grotto Festival of Lights. Wednesday 6:00-7:00pm Class size limit: 60 Tuition: $55

FROM BACH TO TUPAC: MIND-BLOWING SOUNDS!
Have you ever wanted to rock out on an electric guitar? Learn how a violin works? Freestyle and breakdance with a DJ? Sing with amazing jazz musicians? Create sounds on electronic instruments you’ve never even heard of? If so, this class is for you!! Term to term, we will explore music of all kinds, including African, Latin, classical, jazz, rock, country, blues, electronic, hip-hop, and more. To help us along our journey, we’ll have incredible guest artists each week. Thursday 2:45-3:45pm Class size limit: 15 Tuition: $80
VOCAL/INSTRUMENTAL COMBO
This class is a creative forum for students to explore sound and rhythm by combining song, instruments, and more. We will make use of hand instruments, voices, electronic music, and even iPads…the sky’s the limit! This performance-based class, designed to develop pieces for showcasing to the public, will incorporate music from multiple genres and original student material. Thursday 4:00-5:00pm Class size limit: 12 Tuition: $100
